Goan all time favourite receipi

Let me quickly scrap down the coconut kokam kadi I prepared in the afternoon.





2 garlic pieces
3/4 tea spon salt
1 tea spoon sugar
1/2 small coconut
1 small green chilly
2 pinches of hing (asafoetida)
fresh coriander leaves cut into pieces




Grind coconut with enough water and strain the juice. Add salt, sugar, kokam, hing, coriander leaves and slightly mashed garlic and green chilly slit into 2 pieces. Stir after 2 minutes and taste to make the kadi perfect. Add additional sugar or salt as per requirement.
Coconut kokam kadi taste great with Dawat basmati steamed rice and rawa fried fish or even with rawa friend potatoes or cauliflower. Not to miss out, Grandma's lemon pickle is a perfect, delicious add on !
